About DJ Dionne
She is proud to be one of the first female DJs from all of Northeast India, breaking barriers and paving the way for more women in the industry. Over the years, she has had the honor of representing all seven states of Northeast India through her performances and music, showcasing the region’s vibrant culture and unique sound on national stages.

When and how did you get into DJing?
I started in 2014, surrounded by a large group of male DJs. At that time, there wasn’t a single female DJ from Northeast India. Two girls had learned before me but eventually left the scene, which inspired me to step up, learn the craft, and pursue DJing professionally.
Do you produce your own music, or remix existing tracks?
Yes, I both produce my own music and remix existing tracks.

What’s something unique about you that sets you apart from other DJs?
What sets me apart is my ability to feel the energy of the audience with every performance. I pour my heart and soul into each show, whether it’s a large crowd or just a few people dancing in front of me—I always give my best.

My go-to track to get the crowd hyped is “Oh Ho Ho Ho” by Sukhbir.
