About DJ Lyserina
I’m DJ Lyserina, a passionate female DJ from Assam, blending Bollywood, Techno, Hip-Hop, Afro, and House music to create unforgettable, high-energy sets. With a strong background in both classical and modern dance, I have a deep understanding of rhythm and crowd energy.
My journey into DJing began in 2024, after my dance career was paused due to plantar fasciitis. I trained at top DJ academies and went on to earn 2nd Runner-up at IIT Guwahati’s Alcheringa Festival. I’ve performed across Assam and West Bengal, and now I’m ready to rock stages all over India — and beyond.
When and how did you get into DJing?
I started DJing in 2024 after a long passion for music and dance. My dance background was halted due to a leg injury, but that didn’t stop my love for beats and performance. I thought “Khud na sahi dusro ko nachayenge’. I trained professionally at The Fruit Punch DJ Academy, SubBass DJ Academy by RVPTR, and through online platforms like Udemy.
Do you produce your own music, or remix existing tracks?
Yes, I do. I love producing my own music as well as remixing existing tracks. Creating original tracks allows me to pour my personality and emotions into every beat, while remixing lets me take familiar songs and give them a fresh, unexpected twist.
My sets often feature custom edits and remixes that you won’t hear anywhere else — designed specifically to match the energy of the crowd in that moment. Whether it’s a bold Bollywood flip, a tech-house drop, or a fusion of genres, I’m always experimenting and evolving my sound. For me, music production is where creativity meets connection — it’s about making people feel something unforgettable.
What’s something unique about you that sets you apart from other DJs?
What sets me apart is that I’m not just a DJ — I’m a full-package performer. With a strong background in dance and micing skills, I bring a dynamic stage presence that energizes the entire crowd. I don’t just play music — I perform, interact, and lead the vibe with powerful crowd control. My ability to blend live micing, dancing, and remixing creates a one-of-a-kind experience that turns every set into a celebration.
What’s your go-to track to get the crowd hyped?
My Bollywood remix of Ishq Tera Tadpave never fails to set the dancefloor on fire — it blends nostalgia with high energy.
What cities and countries have you performed in so far?
I’ve had the opportunity to perform in a wide range of cities across India, each with its own unique vibe and audience. Some of the places I’ve played include Kolkata, Durgapur, Asansol, Guwahati, Tezpur, Bongaigaon, Dhubri, Barpeta, Karbi Anglong, North Lakhimpur, Bijni, Ranchi, and Dhanbad.
Every location has added something special to my journey — from the high-energy city crowds to the warm and vibrant local audiences. These experiences have helped me grow as an artist, adapt my sets to different atmospheres, and connect deeply with people through music. I’m excited to keep expanding and take my sound to even more cities across India and beyond.

Favorite clubs you would love to play or have played?
Some of the clubs and stages I dream of playing at include Priveé (Delhi), Kitty Su (Mumbai), Playboy Club (Hyderabad), Sunburn Arena, and Soho House. These venues are known for their electric energy, top-tier production, and incredible crowds — the kind of spaces where music truly comes alive.
Performing at any of these iconic spots would be a major milestone in my journey, and I’m working hard every day to make that dream a reality.
