Since syncing with the pulse of India’s club culture in 2013, DJ Sree’s rise has been unstoppable. Her sound draws from a wide range of genres, constantly pushing musical boundaries and breaking the norm. Through collaborations with top artists and performers, she has carved her place as a pioneer—redefining the scene and ushering in a new wave of modern music.
When and how did you get into DJing?
I started my journey in the music world back in 2013 as a producer, where I spent countless hours exploring sound design and experimenting with beats. Over time, my passion for live performance and connecting with audiences grew stronger—so I naturally transitioned into DJing. What began in the studio evolved into a full-blown love for the stage. Taking that leap from behind-the-scenes production to live DJ sets was one of the most powerful decisions of my career. It allowed me to channel my creativity in real time and truly bring my music to life on the dance floor.
Do you produce your own music, or remix existing tracks?
Yes, I do both. I produce my own original tracks as well as remix existing ones to bring a fresh twist and unique energy to them. Creating original music allows me to fully express my style and vision, while remixing gives me the chance to reimagine popular tracks with my own flavor and vibe. I love blending genres, experimenting with beats, and crafting sounds that keep the crowd guessing and dancing. For me, production isn’t just about making music—it’s about creating an experience that connects with people on a deeper level.
What’s something unique about you that sets you apart from other DJs?
One thing that truly sets me apart is my ability to blend VDJing with live music mixing. I don’t just play music—I create a complete audio-visual experience that keeps the crowd fully engaged. My sets are a fusion of visuals, seamless transitions, and genre-blending mixes that elevate the vibe and energy of every event. I focus on storytelling through sound and visuals, making each performance feel like a journey rather than just a party. It’s this creative edge, combined with technical precision and crowd connection, that makes my style stand out.
What’s your go-to track to get the crowd hyped?
I love dropping power-packed tracks that instantly light up the dancefloor—think high-energy EDM bangers, festival anthems, and intense drops that get hearts racing. Whether it’s a hard-hitting electro track, a bass-heavy remix, or a high-tempo mashup, my goal is to take the energy to the next level. I read the vibe of the crowd and deliver the perfect punch to keep them moving. Tracks with big builds, explosive drops, and that unstoppable festival feel are my go-to weapons to ignite the party and keep the momentum alive all night!
What cities and countries have you performed in so far?
I’ve had the opportunity to perform across several vibrant cities in India and abroad. Internationally, Dubai has been one of the highlights of my journey. In India, I’ve played in Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Raipur, Guwahati, Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Jaipur, Vizag, and many more. Each city brings its own energy, culture, and crowd vibe—which keeps me inspired and constantly evolving as an artist. From club residencies to large-scale events and festivals, every performance has added a new flavor to my musical journey.

Favorite clubs you would love to play or have played?
One of my favorite clubs I’ve had the chance to perform at is Wafira in Kolkata. The energy, the crowd, and the vibe of that place are simply unmatched. It’s a space where music truly comes alive, and every performance feels electric. Playing at Wafira has been a highlight of my journey so far, and I look forward to many more unforgettable nights there.
