About DJ Trishita
I began my DJing career back in 2015, with my first-ever performance at Barabati Stadium in Cuttack — and I’ve been riding the wave ever since. Over the years, I’ve honed my craft through countless gigs and competitions, even taking home wins along the way. One of my proudest moments came in 2024, when I had the honor of judging the War of DJs at IIT Kanpur, sharing my experience with the next generation of talent.
When and how did you get into DJing?
I learned DJing from my biggest inspiration — my mother, DJ Shiny, a well-known DJ with over 15 years in the scene. I grew up around music and decks, and it all started back in school when I got hooked on Tomorrowland videos. That spark turned into passion, and with her step-by-step guidance, I began my journey. She didn’t just teach me the skills — she showed me how to own the stage. DJing runs in my blood, and carrying her legacy forward is my biggest pride.
Do you produce your own music, or remix existing tracks?
Not yet — right now, I’m fully focused on live DJing and perfecting my sets. I love the energy of performing and curating the perfect vibe for every crowd. But producing and remixing is definitely on my radar, and I’m excited to explore that side of music very soon!
What’s something unique about you that sets you apart from other DJs?
What sets me apart is my signature blend of EDM with Bollywood, creating a fusion that’s both high-energy and crowd-pleasing. I also love Dubstep, a genre not many DJs explore. That unexpected twist adds a whole new layer to my sets and keeps the dancefloor guessing — and moving — every single time!
What’s your go-to track to get the crowd hyped?
My go-to track to blow up the dancefloor is “Bomb A Drop” by Garmiani — the energy in that drop is unreal! No matter the crowd or the vibe, it never fails to light up the room and get everyone jumping
Describe your sound in 3 words?
I’d describe my sound in three words: Unique, Intuitive, and Immersive.
What cities and countries have you performed in so far?
So far, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to perform in multiple cities across India, including Raipur, Durgapur, Orissa, Jabalpur, Kolkata, Bokaro, Asansol, Guwahati, Sambalpur, Bhubaneswar, and Patna. Each city brought its own unique vibe, and every crowd gave me a new reason to love what I do. The journey’s just getting started — and I can’t wait to take my sound to even more stages across the country and beyond!
Favorite clubs you would love to play or have played?
I’d love to bring my sound to iconic venues like Playboy Club, Prism, and some of the top Techno and EDM clubs across India and around the world. The energy, production, and vibe at these places are next-level — and I can’t wait to make the crowd move on those global stages soon!
