DJ Veronika has been setting dancefloors ablaze for over a decade. One of the rare female DJ stars from Mumbai — the City of Dreams — she began her journey at just 17 in 2011. What started as a passion soon turned into a full-blown career driven by her love for music, infectious energy, and an unshakeable desire to shine. A true Multi-Genre artist, She has found her signature sound in Bollywood Retro, blending nostalgic vibes with a modern twist. Alongside that, she’s known for her dynamic sets that span Electronic Dance Music, Electro House, Progressive, Commercial House, and high-energy Punjabi beats.
Her powerful stage presence and ability to read the pulse of any crowd have made her a sought-after name across India’s top clubs, destination weddings, and elite corporate events. With each performance, Veronika brings not just music, but an entire vibe — mixing emotion with energy, old with new, and East with West. When and how did you get into DJing?
I developed a deep love for music at a very young age, listening to different genres and artists. This passion lead me to explore the art of DJing, and eventually became a job, albeit a job I love deeply. It all happened pretty organically actually. I started by experimenting with music and mixing techniques.
Do you produce your own music, or remix existing tracks?
Yes, I do both. I love producing my own music as it allows me to express my unique sound and creativity from scratch — building everything from the beat to the mood. At the same time, I enjoy remixing existing tracks, especially when I can give a classic or popular song a fresh twist with my own vibe. Whether it’s an original production or a remix, my goal is always to create something that connects with the audience and keeps them moving.
What’s something unique about you that sets you apart from other DJs?
The retro Bollywood sound touches me deeply — it connects to my roots and brings out a sense of timeless emotion in my sets. I channel that nostalgia into my music, blending it with modern beats to create a vibe that feels both familiar and fresh. That emotional connection is what truly sets me apart.
What’s your go-to track to get the crowd hyped?
Crowd control is a very important part of DJing. Every crowd is different so I prefer different tracks and different techniques to hype them up. I constantly scan the room to maintain crowd control. Make it a goal to keep your head on a swivel.
What cities and countries have you performed in so far?
It’s been 12 years I have been performing as a professional DJ. And gratefully, I’ve been blessed to get the opportunity to perform at best of the places in the nation. I have performed in all the Major cities of India. Globally, I am now exploring, I’m looking for more opportunities to spread my style of music around the world.

Favorite clubs you would love to play or have played?
As I mentioned, I’ve played at best of the places around the nation. So I can’t be biased. And also there’s a whole list of places in the world that I wish to perform at. I actually manifest everyday.
