About DJ Zara
One of the rising DJs from Odisha (India), DJ Zara is quickly making her mark on the scene. She began her DJing career at the age of 21 in Bhubaneswar, and since then, there’s been no looking back. Known for her genre-blending sets—ranging from Deep House and Tech House to Bollywood, Retro, and Hip-Hop—She knows exactly how to turn up the vibe. Every party she plays turns into an electrifying experience, with the crowd going wild to her beats and energy.
When and how did you get into DJing?
I started my DJing career at the age of 21—a strong kickstart into the world of music. Driven by a deep passion for sound and rhythm, I was inspired to become a DJ and turn my love for music into a lifelong journey.
Do you produce your own music, or remix existing tracks?
Not yet—but I’m currently focused on building my DJing skills and understanding crowd energy. In the future, I aim to explore music production and start creating my own remixes and original tracks.
What’s something unique about you that sets you apart from other DJs?
For me, it’s never about the size of the crowd—it’s about the connection. Whether it’s 10 or 1,000 people, if everyone is vibing and happy with my music, I’ve done my job. I focus on creating a genuine atmosphere where every listener feels the energy.
What’s your go-to track to get the crowd hyped?
I always choose a track that brings pure energy and enjoyment. It’s all about dropping the right beat at the right moment—something that lifts the vibe and gets everyone moving instantly. I read the crowd and play what makes them truly enjoy with energy.
What cities and countries have you performed in so far?
I’ve had the opportunity to perform in several cities across India, including Odisha, Jammu, Raipur, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Vizag, Kakinada, and Nagpur (Maharashtra). Each place has given me a unique experience and helped shape my journey as a DJ.

Favorite clubs you would love to play or have played?
Mob – Jammu, Infinite – Vijayawada, Frathouse – Hyderabad, XS Super Club – Bhubaneswar.
