Born in Siberia and based in Moscow, DJ Shmidt is known for his unique blend of Afro House, BollyTech, and Bollywood beats. With over a decade of immersion in Eastern sounds, his vibrant, cross-cultural sets reflect his deep musical journey. When and how did you get into DJing?
I started learning DJing in 2013 with my DJ friends, and later continued my training at a DJ school in Moscow.

Yes, I do both remixes and sound production.
What’s something unique about you that sets you apart from other DJs?
What sets me apart is my magnetic energy behind the decks.
What’s your go-to track to get the crowd hyped?
I switch up my style every season with colorful hair and standout costumes to keep the crowd hyped and visually engaged.
What cities and countries have you performed in so far?
I’ve performed in various cities across India, Russia, and Thailand, bringing my signature sound to diverse stages and international audiences.

My sound in three words: Afro House, sunny, and bright.
Favorite clubs you would love to play or have played?
I have a strong connection with AER in Mumbai and will continue playing there next season. I’m also looking forward to performing at Bastian At The Top, where I’ve already established a good connection.
