SAQLN is a Mumbai-based DJ with over 8 years of experience in the nightlife and entertainment industry. Known for his versatile sound and high-energy performances, he seamlessly blends Bollywood, commercial hits, hip-hop, House, Afro House, and Tech House to create immersive musical experiences tailored to every crowd.
Throughout his career, SAQLN has performed at renowned venues and premium hospitality properties, including The St. Regis Mumbai, Novotel, and Courtyard by Marriott, along with several prominent nightlife destinations across Mumbai.
His notable performance highlights include performing at the Ambani New Year celebrations for 2025–26 and the official Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) after-party, reflecting his experience in exclusive, high-profile events.
With a strong understanding of crowd dynamics and musical programming, SAQLN brings versatility, energy, and professionalism to every performance. His vision is to expand his presence across India’s leading clubs, luxury hospitality venues, festivals, and international music destinations while continuously evolving his sound as an artist.
Tell us how your journey as a DJ began.
My journey began in 2017 when I participated in college DJ competitions in Mumbai. After completing my DJ course, I joined DJ Cyrus’s team in 2018 and secured my first club residency at True Tramm Trunk, Juhu. Since then, I’ve continued growing through club residencies, luxury hospitality venues, and major events.
What inspired you to pursue DJing professionally?
My passion for music, energy of the crowd, and the ability to create unforgettable experiences inspired me to turn DJing into a profession. I love how music connects people and transforms the atmosphere.
How would you describe your signature sound and what makes it difficult?
My signature sound blends Bollywood, commercial hits, hip-hop, and global house music with energetic transitions and creative mashups. Personally, I love hybrid tech sounds, so I enjoy incorporating tech-house elements and modern electronic textures into my sets. I focus on reading the room and delivering a unique, high-energy experience rather than just playing tracks.
How do you read a crowd and decide what to play next?
I observe the crowd’s energy, reactions, and dance-floor movement. I adapt my selection and transitions in real time, balancing familiar hits with fresh sounds to keep the energy flowing.
Is there a track or style you love playing when the energy needs a boost? Why?
I love playing “Inndrive – Machine” because its groove and energy always work perfectly to boost the vibe and get the crowd moving.

What are your future goals as a DJ?
My goal is to establish myself as a globally recognized DJ, perform at international festivals and iconic venues, and develop a distinctive sound that blends sounds from different parts of India with modern electronic music. I also want to release original music and create experiences that set me apart as an artist.
